I like being outdoors in the fresh air. This isn’t always easy due to weather, therefore I love to browse for suitable outdoor clothing which will keep me warm and dry. Also I love tasty, nourishing and filling refreshments.

I love to put on my big boots and go on rambles.

We also love to go camping. We do watch the weather forecasts though after a few disastrous times spent shivering in the tent trying to avoid touching the canvas in case the rain comes through or holding on to tent poles all through the night so our shelter doesn’t blow away – still makes good memories as these things are often funnier afterwards :) Long walks are good whatever the weather, wearing the right gear and knowing there’s a cosy chair awaiting.

Ha, ha – love it. We’ve endured some camping disasters too, most memorably trying to re-erect my sister’s tent which had collapsed on her young family in the middle of a torrential storm at 2am in the morning. Nobody was hurt in the slightest and surprisingly her two year old didn’t even wake up during the commotion! Happy times ;)

Walking along the canal in the village where I live – I’m so lucky to have a lovely place to walk on my doorstep

What a great prize. I love cycling, walking and photography. With the Outdoors Show and the London Bike Show it covers all my interests. I missed it last year due to a broken wrist and bad leg.

Thanks Jeremy. What a shame you missed it last year. This year it looks like it’s going to be a fabulous show again, don’t you agree. Good luck!
