Naturally beautiful and Fairtrade – Visionary Soap

February 1 Author: admin

Here at Easy Green Towers we often receive lots of exciting things through the post, but the other day we had the nicest smelling parcel we have ever received drop through our letter box. The parcel contained a selection of products from the splendidly named Visionary Soap.

Visionary Soap is the UK’s leading Fairtrade soap and body care company whose entire range carries the Fairtrade Mark. Their products consist of an organic body care range handcrafted here in the UK, while incorporating ingredients from producers in Palestine, India, Ghana, Nicaragua, The Dominican Republic, Sri Lanka and South Africa. They have also taken fair trade into the manufacturing arena by supporting a soap making project in a South African community with high unemployment and affected by HIV/AIDS.

What really appealed to us was their vision to “produce premium quality products that people enjoy while at the same time incorporating values of social responsibility, environmental sustainability and holistic wellbeing”.

So on paper Visionary Soap sounds like they are doing the right thing, but what are the products like? Well I am happy to confirm that they are lovely. We tried a variety of gorgeous smelling soaps containing lavender, lemongrass and orange, which left my skin feeling clean and smelling delicious. I also tried their lemon lip balm which has solved my winter chapped lips almost instantaneously. Most luxurious of all was the lemongrass bath melt which has left my skin beautifully moisturised.

None of the 38 products in Visionary Soap’s range contain synthetic dyes or fragrances, parabens, petroleum-based ingredients, palm oil, alcohol, sodium laureth sulfate or animal products. They are simply made with the finest vegetable oils, butters, essential oils and botanicals and all products are also fully certified
by The Vegan Society.

All products are available to buy online direct from Visionary Soap. If you can’t make your mind up which one to buy, I particularly like the Soap of The Month Club where you can chose to receive up to 3 bars of soap per month. It would make a lovely present for someone special in your life or a lovely treat for yourself.

Finally, the lovely people at Visionary Soap have kindly offers us one of their gorgeous Bath Melt Gift Box to giveaway. For your chance of winning just fill the form below.
