The love for Gtech’s energy-efficient AirRAM™ is sweeping the nation

energy saving products

Remember how I fell in love with the fantastic, energy-efficient, cordless Gtech AirRAM™ vacuum cleaner that I reviewed a little while ago? Well, it would seem I’m not the only one to be ‘swept’ off my feet by this bagless, rechargeable eco-friendly gem. Since launching in April the Gtech AirRAM™ has now received the Good Housekeeping Institute’s seal of approval and is also fast becoming John Lewis’ most desirable vacuums in their portfolio.

According to the huge volume of customer reviews, mine included, banishing the need for heavy, cumbersome, corded vacuums has changed domestic cleaning into a pleasure rather than a chore. Us Gtech users are literally ‘love vacuuming’ and that’s a fact.

What’s to love? Well, it’s energy efficient first and foremost, with running costs as low as 1p per week – it’s great to know that you are saving energy and money as you sweep. It’s also cordless, meaning you can take it all around the home without the need for (or hazard of) trailing cables, plus you don’t need to stop and start once you are on a vacuuming mission. It’s lightweight too, giving you effortless cleaning power, plus it’s handy and safe to carry up and down stairs. Finally, it’s easy to clean, rather than dusty cylinders to empty the Gtech collects and compresses the dust and dirt into small compact bales which you simply drop into the bin – no mess at all. To find out more about the Gtech AirRAM™, take a look at my full review here, plus check out the rather unusual location where I tested mine out.

Gtech AirRam Cordless Vacuum Cleaner available www.gtech.co.uk and Argos

Finally, rather than take my word for how good the Gtech AirRAM™ is, why not get one for yourself.

Because the dirt is compressed the whole machine is less bulky, and because the bin is located next to the brush bars, less power is required to move the dirt from the floor which is why the Gtech AirRam vacuum cleaner is highly energy efficient. ps your link in the rafflecopter drop down box for this section does not work,

AirRam technology compresses the dirt into tidy bales which you just drop into the bin.

Here’s how it works:
Power comes from a professional-grade Li-ion battery. There is no messy dust and no need to keep buying expensive bags
The motor powers the brush bars that lift dirt from the floors – works well on hard floors and carpets
The motor also drives a fan that generates the AirRam. This compresses the dirt into neat bales which you drop into the bin. No expensive bags
