It’s February and my skin, pale even in the summer months, is now pasty and a little dry. So imagine my delight then when two glittery, shocking pink tubes of body scrub and fake tan landed on my desk from Australian brand Vani-T.
The products, which are delightfully named Liquid Loofah and Bronzing Custard are organic, not tested on animals plus their funky packaging is fully recyclable.
I had no hesitation using the Liquid Loofah body scrub which contains Australian sea salt and sugar particles to reveal a brand new layer of radiant skin. With its natural ingredients and blend of hydrating coconut, jojoba and sunflower oil, my limbs were loofahed to loveliness! It made me smell delicious as well, so a big thumbs up to this product.
I was much more reluctant to use the Bronzing Custard fake tan as I have never been tempted to use this type of product before fearing I would end up orange and streaky. However, the press release claimed that Vani-T Bronzing Custard has “the answer to your fake tanning disaster with a genius little product that guarantees to turn even the most devout faux fan phobes!” so I felt compelled to give it a go.
I have to say I am a convert and I don’t have orange skin! The hint of self tanning agent allows depth of control over colour, so you can extend a natural tan or build up a natural glow. It was very easy to apply and had no horrible smell often associated with other fake tan
It appears I am in good company as Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Scherzinger, Helena Christensen are all fans too! In fact Dannii Minogue says ‘I’m fastidious about body moisturiser. I love Vani-T’s Bronzing Custard, a gradual tanning moisturiser that’s never the wrong colour”.
Vani-T is available at selected beauty salons, spas and hair salons.
